so you can’t really be in london and not go and see bands, because over here there are a ridiculous amount of good bands to see. what i learnt a couple of nights ago, however, is where not to go to see a band in london, and thats the astoria. i thought seeing animal collective could be a life-changing experience, it turned out just to be a noisy mess. but some songs were great, ‘purple bottle’ bring the absolute standout. i still wish i was in this band, i still love you, animal collective.
Animal Collective - Purple Bottle (Stevie Wonder version)

in other news, i’m obsessively listening to my brand new, updated, extended, gotye remix, which means either that i am completely self-obsessed, or that i am in love with myself, or that i have somehow created, through a complex process of alchemy, the worlds greatest motherfucker of a remix. or all of the above. or just the first one.

lastly, there is an interview with me over at the noise website, where you can see my hammy sense of humour in its full nakedness. there is an obligatory mention of scrabble, and at one point i attempt to use the phrase ‘relatively pedestrian’.

Wow - your are good. Never heard of you until I followed a goyte link. Man - you ever listen to Plaid? and there is definatley some Lemon Jelly in your mix.. A touch of Amon Tobin in that syncopation, even some RJD2 there with your loops … hmm but - ‘New!’. You should hook up with Andy Droid Page, he’d be missing babs and probably could do with another like minded ear. Oh - sorry if this is in the wrong spot - thought about an guestbook? Even better, why don’t you and Wally get on a bus and show Australia your stuff - make it multimedia if the Dj thing aint your style. See ya round sometime (hopefully),
