how hot is the guitar work in this track! and also, i think robert palmer may actually have been some kind of genius. if only we could somehow erase the whole “simply irresistible” era from palmer’s legacy. and also, how cool is it to play moogs in stadiums

you planted the seed. i grew the tree. my pool boy will pick the fruits. let us all eat them. the warm love of robert palmer shall grow in our bellies and then make its way into the sewerage system, delivering its hypnotic smells throughout the lands
